When planning your trip out here, don’t forget that there is an alternate airport that you can fly to: Grand Junction. Because Grand Junction is located at a lower altitude than Aspen, Snowmass, or Vail, which means the weather is much warmer and not as unpredictable. This Christmas Holiday saw many stranded passengers, and with most transportation companies booked up, guests had a much harder time getting here. If you’re planning a trip out here, look into alternate airports, such as Grand Junction and Denver International. Once there, we can get you back up to Aspen/Snowmass Village with no problem at all. And usually, the cost is still the same as if you were going to fly into Aspen. Keep in mind that holiday travel is an even more stressful time to travel with the crowds. Next time, be sure to have us pick you up at the airport to take the stress away!
