HUGE Snowfall!
Friday, December 7th, 2007Well, it seems as though we’ve finally received the snowfall required to open up all four of Aspen’s mountains. It’s a good thing too, as Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk opens tomorrow. The snowfall, which I’m guessing at this point is already at 15 inches (and still piling up), will also help open all of the lifts at both Snowmass and Aspen Mountain.
The staff at Rocky Mountain Transportation is also hoping that this will be a great opportunity to provide and airport shuttle between Denver International, Eagle Vail airport, and the Aspen/Snowmass area. From the looks of things, the airport around here might be closed for a few days if the forecasts are accurate. The road conditions might be a bit rough, so for our guests that aren’t use to driving in this weather, please give us a call and let us take care of it for you. I’ve lived in a mountainous region all my life, and have made many a journey on snow-covered Interstate 70. Brian has extensive experience driving airport shuttles between both Aspen and Eagle/Vail. So you’re all in good hands!
We look forward to hearing from you soon, and remember that it’s much safer to have the professionals take you up to the mountains.
Take care,
Jason Lehman
